I am so sick of all of the political adds on TV, pointing their crooked little fingers at everyone else and telling us what the other fellow did wrong. How about for once, you stand up and say,“This is what I see as one of our problems, and this is how I propose to fix it.” That would be refreshing and it might also lead to the election of the right person for the job at the right time.
Now, to turn my attention to those currently holding an elected office. WAKE UP! The American people are sending you messages. We have voted out a lot of incumbent people that have held their seats or offices for a number of years. However, we are getting tired of the Same Crap, Different Day mentality. All politicians, regardless of office, need to bury the party line and think of themselves as an American, instead of Democrat or Republican. They then need to ask themselves a couple of questions. First, is what I am about to do, beneficial to the American people as a whole and not just a subset of that population? Second, would I be embarrassed if my actions were made public? If the answer to the first question is yes, and the answer to the second question, is no, then proceed. However, if you cannot answer the first question yes and the second one no, you need to stop and look for alternative approaches.
